Why does Maker's Row charge a subscription fee?

Part of the reason we created the site was because it is hard to find manufacturers just by Google or Yelp searching.This curation process and work on our end adds to why we charge a subscription fee. 

In response to feedback from our community, we have added improved features in search, more robust educational content, and hands on Project management. You can also try the site out as a free user which includes the ability to create a Project and submit it for our project digest. The evolution in our pricing structure was necessary in order to cover these additional resources and technology.
